Optimus Alive! in Portugal is a 3 day music and arts festival which takes place in the Algés riverside, in Oeiras, near Lisbon. 

Frequently talked about as one of the best summer music festivals in Europe, Optimus Alive features varied line-ups that give equal attention to stadium filling international live acts, buzzy emerging artists and home-grown Portuguese talent. The festival is reputed for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Now entering its eighth year, the 50,000 capacity festival enjoys the kind of sunny weather UK festivals can only dream of and a prime location in the heart of Lisbon, a 5 minute drive from the capital’s beautiful historical landmarks and bustling nightlife.

With some of Europe’s best beaches and surfing spots 10 mins away by train, Optimus Alive is very much a ‘beach by day, music by night’ destination festival - the festival opens at 6pm and goes on until 6am and fans can either book from the huge array of stylish and affordable local accommodation, or camp in the luxurious festival campsite.
