Optimus Alive set in the city of Lisbon, has today announced more acts for 2014. Joining Thursday’s headliners Arctic Monkeys are The Black Keys, who will be topping the bill on Friday 11th July. They will be joined by Canadian psychedelic dance producer Caribou, who is back with a much anticipated new album next year, downtempo soulful electronic singer/songwriter Chet Faker and bewitching Minneapolis electro-pop five piece Poliça. Also confirmed are neo psychedelic alt rockers MGMT, rustic folk group The Lumineers and Imagine Dragons who have enjoyed a stratospheric rise to fame since they burst onto the scene with their 2012 stadium rock debut Night Visions

The festival is reputed for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere; “not just on the festival site but throughout the city we are welcomed with gracious arms wide open.
