It’s back! Lakefest hits those hallowed Eastnor fields 5th-9th August 2026 in glorious Herefordshire, for another annual bout of malarkey and good times.

Our FFA Reviewers regard Lakefest as one of the best, and certainly one of the most imaginative, festivals in the UK for its size. The sub 20k capacity festival market is mightily competitive, but for depth and breadth of entertainment, facilities, organisation, and, of course, incredible value to money, our guys think Lakefest excels.

2026 sees the likes of Madness, Example, Bananarama, Newton Faulkner, and the Charlatans stomping the half dozen stages, plus everything from Burlesque to Circus, Wrestling to BMX Shows, and its famous Retrospective of House and accompanying full-on EDM scene. Please don’t forget that Lakefest prides itself on promoting young and emerging talent; from its Road To Lakefest initiative, to the Introducing and buskers stages. Do support them – you may just see tomorrow’s headliners!

The line-up is not even half the story – Lakefest is a multi-media, multi-arena, multi-culture, multi-well-pretty-much-everything extravaganza. Astute festival goers realise that it’s the vibe, the buzz created when all the components of a cracking weekend merge together to form one complete whole, that makes a truly great festival, and sets it apart from events that are, frankly, little more than bands in a field. Great acts are transitory, it’s the Lakefest atmosphere, it’s very Beating Heart that is the thing. It’s an old cliché, but Lakefest genuinely caters for every generation, and there is always something in the mix to satisfy most peccadillo’s, from family fun to wild party scenes. Lakefest really has got a family friendly vibe to its very core, but doesn’t forget that the adults need their fun too!

Don’t forget Lakefest’s commendable, and increasingly rare, pricing policy – the price you see is the price you pay; camping and parking fees – forget ‘em. The same goes for booking fees and all the other add-ons that end up sapping the wallet.  Remember that Lakefest is a true five nighter of a long, long, weekend, and, you’ve guessed it, it’s all in the standard ticket price. Where Lakefest absolutely smashes it is in the plethora of upgrade options available. There is a wealth of VIP, and, yep, VVIP options, with dedicated and exclusive glamping, bars, stages, viewing areas, and posh loos. You can also park right next to your tent and indulge in electric hook-ups if that’s your bag. There are even off-site accommodation and All-Inclusive options! Whether you choose the basics or the ultimate indulgencies, facilities are usually a cut above standard festival fayre either way.

 

Finally, as FFA stated above…. The one element that sets Lakefest apart is its PEOPLE. This crowd is to die for! A great festival is a human thing. You can almost taste the Lakefest Buzz as you approach the site. The atmosphere is absolutely electric. There is a sense of shared community at Lakefest, a oneness of the crowd, a collective spirit that powers the whole weekend… many festivals have lost that. Many more, large and small, never attained it. At Lakefest you become part of a family – and it’s wonderful.
