The Shiiine On Weekender returns to the wonderful Butlins Minehead resort 13h-15th November 2026 and promises to be absolutely ace. Previous Shiiine bashes have sent our FFA Reviewers into raptures, because the Shiiine weekend is the real deal; this is a genuine Indie and Dance festival rush... but all indoors! Trust us. You’ll be getting on down with thousands of other party people, for three late nights of rollicking good times, with a great crowd raving to some of the era’s best. Shiiine successfully captures the mood of a whole generation – and it’s lovely.
“Shiiine is defined by its audience of course – they ARE Shiiine. A fabulous crowd up for a good time, passionate about their music, and with a real sense of community reminiscent of the early underground scene. For many in this bright-eyed bushy-tailed crew, Shiiine holds up a mirror to their youth, their defining time, and firmly states ‘Sorted’.”
It’s a packed weekend, and not just with the bands: there are loads of other non-music stuff going down, like comedy, talks, exhibitions, and cracking Club Nights to keep you flying. The Multiple arenas host the likes of The Wonder Stuff, Feeder, Happy Mondays, Hard-Fi, Inspiral Carpets, The Bluetones, The Farm, and Jesus Jones amongst around 80 acts over 5 stages.

The spiffing musical line-up is only part of what makes Shiiine so special of course. The location helps make the event; make no mistake, the whole concept of a Butlins Resort as multi-day music venue is pretty much faultless. If you’ve never been to a Butlins Resort before, park any doubts, they are genuinely 21st century holiday destinations providing excellent facilities, accommodation and dining options to suit most tastes and pockets, great bars, large auditoria, … and yes, pool parties in their excellent Water World. Shiiine generates a real festival atmosphere, with all the buzz and sense of community to boot. It’s the summer festival scene without mud, in winter, with your own warm bed and facilities! A winter music festival fix without the hassle.
This isn't a field festival, but still captures the same vibe. Shiiine On is the UK's ultimate all-indoor indie & dance weekender — three nights at Butlin's Minehead with your accommodation included in the ticket price. The Shiiine package has it all; Full festival access with one of their biggest line-ups yet, plus brand-new stages for 2026 and pool parties, water park, bars & restaurants are yours all weekend. Stages start at 11am – but Late-night DJs will have you bouncing until the small hours. Throw in multiple accommodation options and free on-site parking includes in the inclusive ticket price, and you’re good to go!
But listen up: ‘Nostalgia Fest’ Shiiine certainly isn’t – the Shiiine audience are still 24 hour party people, but also very much in the now; Shiiine provides an opportunity to reflect on the era that helped shape who they are – but they don’t live there! These aren’t lives frozen in aspic, forever trapped in the culture and trends of their youth – they have grown and flourished, embracing all the cultural twists and turns that brought them to 2026. What Shiiine actually delivers is an opportunity to glance back over the shoulder, an acknowledgement and knowing smile that ‘They were there!’, a moment to revel at an era that not only shaped them, but shaped the world. To this audience, Shiiine is not a museum to times past, but a celebration of what helped form their now.
Remember too, that Minehead is on your doorstep, so if all Shiiine’s shenanigans give you the vapours and you get a bit too giddy, then the wonderful Victorian seaside town of Minehead is literally a couple of minutes’ walk away along the Prom. Indie, Dance, a genuine festival buzz, and a Somerset Cream Tea, what’s not to like?
Shiiine typically sells out early – but you may be lucky and pick up Returns & Late Releases HERE.
