Y Not FestivalY Not Festival has unveiled an exciting line up for its seventeenth edition taking place from Thursday 1st - Sunday 4th August, featuring an impressive array of headliners and supporting acts. The festival, renowned as the East Midlands's essential music event, promises an unforgettable experience at Pikehall.

Thursday night opens with Northern rockers Kaiser Chiefs, boasting almost three decades in the industry and a string of stadium hits. Their debut record, "Employment," was the fourth best-selling album in 2005. The festival marks their first Y Not headline appearance, and with an eighth album on the horizon, fans can anticipate a blend of classics and fresh tracks.

The star-studded line up sees alt-rock outfit Snow Patrol headlining on Friday night. Celebrating their 30th anniversary, Snow Patrol, known for hits like 'Chasing Cars,' promises an extraordinary performance. Saturday sees indie icon Jamie T taking the stage, showcasing his distinctive hip-hop vocal phrasing and eclectic musical palette. With multiple hits like 'Sheila' and 'Sticks ‘n’ Stones,' Jamie T has consistently achieved success with all five of his albums reaching the Top 5 in the UK charts.

Closing out the weekend on Sunday are Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, led by the legendary Noel Gallagher. A pivotal figure in contemporary guitar music, Gallagher has enjoyed widespread success with multiple albums and global tours. The band's recent album, "Council Skies," received global acclaim, making their Y Not Festival appearance a must-see after a massive year.

Joining these headliners are other notable acts like The Kooks, pop rock artist Declan McKenna, The Vaccines, storytelling pop artist Holly Humberstone, Nottingham singer-songwriter Jake Bugg, dance star Katy B, Manchester indie rockers Pale Waves, fiery punks Lambrini Girls, and enduring indie band Spector.

Y Not Festival places a strong emphasis on being family-friendly, with dedicated family camping areas and zones offering endless activities for children, including games, magic shows, and more. The festival's commitment to providing entertainment for all ages ensures a well-rounded experience for festival-goers.
