OxfordOxford on Sunday 28th September at South Park will host a variety of artworks installed in exhibitions from groups including the Oxford Art Society, whilst those hoping for something more action-packed can enjoy demonstrations and displays from local rugby team London Welsh.

Elsewhere food for thought comes from, amongst others, Oxford Castle Unlocked and their be-costumed tour guides. With the Zulu-influenced Count Drachma, reggae band Jamatone and more the music offering will be as diverse as Oxford’s community itself. Local charity Audioscope and Sofar Sounds are also headed for South Park to provide OxfordOxford’s Sunday with an acoustic stage filled with talent.

Already boasting pop, indie and electronic music from the likes of Klaxons, Katy B and Gaz Coombes, Saturday’s music-themed day will now include even more. The ‘Movement Records presents’ set will now also feature Mercury Prize-nominated artist Michael Kiwanuka within the ‘house-band’ style showcase of the label’s talents. Also to take to the OxfordOxford stage will be Zane Lowe-approved quartet, Many Things.

It’ll be thirsty work being this entertained so OxfordOxford have lined up a plethora of food and drink traders all of which are based or originate from the local area. Wychwood brewery’s Hobgoblin truck, Missing Bean Coffee, G & D’s ice cream, Made of Dough Pizza, Joseph Perk hot dogs and many more will be keeping bellies full all weekend.

Also now confirmed is the input from official charity partner Oxfam. On Friday short films showcasing the charity’s work will be shown and throughout the weekend an Oxfam stall will display information on current projects and offer Oxfam Unwrapped products for sale.

'We're absolutely thrilled to be OxfordOxford's official charity partner - we'll be there across the weekend telling people all about how Oxfam is helping thousands of communities worldwide work their way out of poverty, and how it all started right in the heart of this great city. Come and discover some of our life-saving emergency equipment and find out why a bucket isn't always just a bucket!' Ellie Hughes, Regional Fundraising Manager.

For night owls the fun can now carry on late into the night thanks to OxfordOxford’s official after parties - Friday’s will be hosted by The Bullingdon’s ‘Rotation’ and Saturday’s by ‘Trashy’ at O2 Academy Oxford. Both parties will be free entry with an OxfordOxford wristband.

Tickets can now also be purchased in person at The Rusty Bicycle, Truck Store, The Bullingdon and The Rickety Press.
