OxfordOxford is a brand new weekend-long event of arts, music and community collaborations celebrating all things…Oxford!

Set in the spectacular surroundings of South Park, OxfordOxford will take place over the weekend of September 26th-28th, neatly rounding off the season and bringing the summer to a close.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a themed programme of activities and entertainments each day covering a specially curated film festival, a music line-up reflecting the city’s rich musical legacy and a host of attractions stemming from the talents of the local community.

Klaxons have been confirmed as the headliners for the debut line-up for OxfordOxford taking place on the weekend of 26th-28th September in South Park. Also confirmed for the Music Saturday line-up are Katy B, Gaz Coombes, Tunng, ‘Movement Records Presents’ with Christian Gregory and Celeste, Pixel Fix, and Dance A La Plage plus BBC Introducing with Flights of Helios, Balloon Ascents, and Robot Swans.

OxfordOxford will kick off with a cinematic spectacular on Friday 26th September, additions to the big screen’s billing include a special ‘dance-a—long’ version of 80’s guilty pleasure, Dirty Dancing. Similar cult classics on offer will be the action-packed Top Gun and family-favourite, The Goonies. As already announced features will also include ‘sing-a-long’ Grease and Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland.

The event will culminate in a vibrant and varied collection of Oxford’s many different community groups and activities, access to which will be free all-day on Sunday 28th September. Dance, local history, sports and local industry will all feature across the day in numerous forms.
