Following four successful years at Lakefest has outgrown its current location of Croft Farm Water Park, Lakefest 2016 will be taking place at Eastnor Castle.

Eastnor Castle is the former site of the Big Chill Festival, but the organisers would like to emphasise that Lakefest will still be Lakefest! The move is in no way an attempt to replicate The Big Chill Festival, it is Lakefest as you know and love it on a larger scale!

Lakefest 2015

Lee Martin, Lakefest director said, “We are delighted to be able to share this exciting news with you. We have some amazing memories of the past four years here at Croft Farm Waterpark, but the festival has evolved and we now need to expand to a much larger location. We are so grateful to have such loyal attendees who have been with us since day one and although we are on the move, the team of directors will remain the same; still delivering the same passion for music and bringing you a family-friendly festival to remember.

This year has been a staggering success and a larger venue needed to be found. We consider you all royalty and so where better than the grounds of a castle! Less than a twenty-minute drive away from our current location, Eastnor will provide the perfect setting for years to come.”

James Hervey-Bathurst: “We are delighted to be associated with Lakefest from 2016. We have held many large events in our Deer Park and the festival will be a welcome return for ourselves, the local people and local businesses. Eastnor Castle is known as a family-friendly venue which is a perfect match with the visitors to Lakefest. We really hope to build on Lakefest’s success and host it for many years to come
