Kendal Calling Line UpKendal Calling, set against the picturesque backdrop of the Lake District from  Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th August, has unveiled its initial line up, featuring a stellar array of headliners. Leading the pack is Paolo Nutini, the soulful crooner whose comeback album "Last Night in the Bittersweet" in 2022 underscored his enduring musical journey. Joining him are Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, known for the globally acclaimed "Council Skies," and Mike Skinner and The Streets, famed for hits like 'Fit But You Know It' and 'Dry Your Eyes.' The festival promises a show-stopping close with The Streets.  Celebrating 20 years since the release of their first album Hopes and Fears, Keane will be bringing their their soaring piano melodies to the Lakes.  Paul Heaton is set to perform hits from his whole career including Beautiful South, Housemartins and his more recent chart-topping albums with with Rianne Downeywill.

The line up also boasts 00s icons Sugababes, rising star Declan McKenna, indie favourites The Reytons, and Scottish sensation The Snuts. Comedy takes centre stage this year with Russell Howard and Paul Smith, making their debut in the festival's comedy arena. Additionally, football legend Gary Neville teams up with Tim Burgess for a unique DJ set in Parklands.

The diverse line up features artists like Pale Waves, Feeder, Kate Nash, Katy B, Lightning Seeds, and The Lottery Winners. Gary Neville takes on DJ duties alongside Tim Burgess, offering a blend of musical styles in Parklands. Returning acts include The Pigeon Detectives, Sundara Karma, and Heather Small. Newcomers such as The Royston Club, Red Rum Club, and Royel Otis from Australia add to the festival's depth.

Kendal Calling will also be featuring 6Music favourites Antony Szmeriek and 86TVs, psych legends Temples, and late-night acts like Shy FX, Orbital DJ, and Craig Charles in GLOW. The festival also promises diverse entertainment, with Dick and Dom, Barrioke, and three special shows by The Untold Orchestra performing Stevie Wonder, ABBA, and Queer Icons.
