The whole of the UK can look forward to painting the town red, as well as blue, yellow and green next year, as HOLI ONE Colour Festivals has announced a 17 city UK tour, commencing in June 2014.

The festivals will be hosted in various locations across the UK, including Dublin and the Isle of Wright, after this year saw two hugely successful shows at London’s Battersea Power Station and Manchester’s Heaton Park.

The founders, brothers Stephen and Alex Dau, have already taken the festival to numerous parts of the world and after receiving positive feedback from the UK trials, decided the whole of the UK should experience the event.

Speaking about the festival, Stephan Dau, CEO and founder of HOLI ONE Colour Festivals, said:

“We’re so excited to bring HOLI ONE to more locations in the UK after holding successful events earlier this year. We had amazing experiences in London and Manchester and the reception was overwhelming.”

“It is set to be an amazing year for HOLI ONE festivals and we can’t wait for the big tour to begin. The powder that is thrown at our events is completely safe and adds to the fantastic time enjoyed by all.”

The festival sees people dress in white and cover each other with brightly coloured powder, on the hour, every hour, whilst being entertained by some of the best local and international DJs.

Last year, HOLI ONE festivals were attended by 100,000 worldwide and took place across cities and countries that included London, South Africa and Berlin.

Stephan continued: “We feel this is a great opportunity for UK businesses to be involved with HOLI ONE. Our festivals are unique and very popular and we are keen to utilise any partnership opportunities available to us in the UK.”
