Summer Sundae Weekender 2011 is delighted to announce the second wave of additions to this year’s line-up,  having previously unveiled headliners the Maccabees,  the legendary Graham Coxon and an array of other exciting artists to what will be an unmissable date in the summer music calendar.

The first new act to be revealed is London rapper Example who stormed the Top Ten with hits such as ‘Won’t go Quietly’ and ‘Kickstart’.  Alongside Example we have the ever charming and always poetic,  Mercury nominated Manchester trio I am Kloot, the chart-topping pop heartthrobs McFly, Brit-pop favourites Reef and the notorious all female Japanese pop-punk outfit Shonen Knife, who can lay claim to being one of Kurt Cobain’s most revered bands.

They will be accompanied by a whole host of other emerging and established names including delicate folk songstress Beth Jeans Houghton, SXSW favourites GIVERS and political activists The Agitator for what is guaranteed to be another eclectic and exciting weekender in Summer Sundae’s exulted history.
