Lakefest

LakeFest takes place at Croft Farm Waterpark in Gloucestershire from  August 7th - 9th 2015. It’s a family affair and Martin Newell, one of the Lakefest organisers explains, “We’re award-winners* and there’s no way that we could let the standard drop for this year. We began doing this as we are all so passionate about music and just want everyone to have a good time at a spectacular lakeside setting, with access to a remarkable line-up of acts. But we couldn’t leave the kids out. The big ones and the little ones!

This year, we have a diverse range of activities to keep the little ones entertained, from kite-making to circus skills, Glamba drumming workshops, BMX skills and even some walk-about dragons and story-telling. As well as the water sports that are available on-site.

The children’s area will be run by ‘Spare Room Arts’ for the third year and they specialise in creating outdoor events that sit within inspirational surroundings to encourage creativity. The spaces provide the ultimate chill-out area and we’ll also have Children’s Yoga and Adult’s Yoga for Lakefesters.

Artists already confirmed: The Magic Numbers Cheeky Girls D:Ream, Billy Bragg, Dreadzone, Ferocious Dog, Hayseed Dixie, Lloyd Yates, Nizlopi and The Selecter.
