Rockstock & Barrel is a major new festival-style event at Burton upon Trent on October 3 and 4 2014.
Rockstock and Barrel was born out of a desire to stretch the festival season beyond the summer (without worrying about camping in the unpredictable British weather) and continue to enjoy some high energy, folky punk, sexy rock and rootsy blues music..... Add years of appreciation and taste for real cider (hic.....) and Burton on Trent now has its own Real Cider and Music Festival.
Held in the Town Hall, Rockstock & Barrel also incorporates Burton’s first ever cider festival, promising up to 60 real ciders from around the country. There’ll also be festival-style food vendors and full bar facilities.
Rockstock & Barrel will begin with a civic reception on the afternoon of Friday, Oct 3, before an evening of music with a mainly-acoustic flavour on the main stage.
On Saturday October 4 music will start early afternoon with a selection of quality artists. Saturday will also see a second stage operating, designed to showcase the best local acoustic acts.
