Finally, for the first time in its nine-year reign Wychwood festival will be hosting a dedicated legendary Hobgoblin's Beer Festival using crafts from its own brewery as well as local artisans.
Tipples include house ales such as On for the Roadie (Brakspear) 3.4%, an outstanding rich beer with a real differentiation that comes from the use of the flavour-yielding ‘double-dropped’ fermentation system, so beloved by fans. Also on the bill is White Wych (Wychwood Brewery ) 4 %, a delicate, finely balanced golden ale as well as Cocker Hoop (Jennings Brewery) 4.6% ABV an award-winning golden bitter from an all malt brew, plus many more.
Festival revellers will also have the opportunity to take some time out from the musical offering to sip and savour a selection of the ales that have been carefully paired with the delicious food available around the festival in a bespoke beer and food pairing menu. Whether you're a connoisseur or simply looking to explore the diversity of flavour the Wychwood Real Ale Festival provides yet another dimension to the mass of entertainment available across three days of the festival.
