Music fans and players attending this year's Wychwood festival are being given the chance to dust off their ukuleles and join forces with The Ukulele Orchestra Of Great Britain.
Those who wish to improve their ukulele skills will be able to join local ukulele group, The Ukeholics who will be running a workshop on the Saturday of the festival to help rehearse a few tunes, plus there will be a late night practice session on the campsite too. All participants will be told the time and location of the secret show on Sunday and will then join forces with the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain and dozens of other ukulele players to spring a surprise performance on fellow festival goers.

Wychwood Festival takes place on Cheltenham Race Course from 31st May to 2nd June, boasting an eclectic and innovative programme that includes indie, folk, rock and world music. The line-up includes some of the most talented emerging artists on the UK’s music scene at the moment with the likes of Lucy Rose, Mausi, The History Of Apple Pie and much more appearing alongside industry veterans and prestigious artists that includes Bill Bailey, The Human League, The Beat, Kate Nash and more with an exceptional weekend of entertainment. This year’s ninth successive year will see revellers flock to the stunning Gloucestershire countryside to experience an utterly delightful atmosphere enjoyed by all the family, whether a toddler, a teenager, a parent or a festival lover, there truly is something for the whole family.
