Bestival today revealed that they  will be bringing  World Music Day to the Bestival Bandstand on Saturday 7th September.

The Banstand will be curated by Rhythmtree's Gerry Priddle, the line up is includes: AJ Holmes & the Hackney Empire’s stylistic melting-pot, London Afrobeat Collective’s incendiary party machine, Zee Guveya’s Heritage Survival Band’s Zimbabwean fusion, Lokandes’ Andean madness, erstwhile Takhead man, Little Axe’s sublime blues, Airtist’s organic beats, Modeste Hugues’ Malagasy guitar and By The Rivers’ roots reggae. Plus there will be music from MuHa, Tantz, Myles Sanko, Martin Newnham, The Goat Roper Rodeo Band, Cable Street Collective, Mama con Yuka & Amazee, Electric Jalaba, Rabbit Foot and Ouse Valley Singles Club
