On July 17th – 18th the two day Truck festival rolls in to Oxford with a whole host of lucky handpicked special guests, now including unsigned and upcoming talent sourced through the festival’s Band App. Indie label Alcopop and BSM Recording Company have plucked out indie rockers Gang and Dingus Khan from the masses to help provide some energy to the line-up. Barn Stage headliner Pulled Apart By Horses selected Rickyfitts as their top pick, whilst BBC Introducing Oxford judged Ballon Ascent, Death of Hi-Fi, Little Brother Eli, Orange Vision, Rainbow Reservoir, Too Many Poets and Water Pageant to be worthy of stage time. Americana and Folk rooted Clubhouse Records went on to back Frankie Teardrop Dead, Passport to Stockholm, The Fruitful Earth and Knights of Mentis. Truck Festival decided upon Wallflower, Delora, Sulky Boy, and FEVER as their winning applicants, whilst Market Stage artist Lucy Rose lovingly selected Fox Chapel.
This two-day celebration of music encompasses everything we have come to love from past, present and future. The headline slots are filled with chart topping basement Jaxx and The Charlatans with many others such as Darwin Deez, Ghostpoet, Rae Morris, Eagulls, Honeyblood plus much more. Tickets for the most eclectic Truck Festival to date are priced at only £79.50.
