At £50 for four days of camping and cavorting the Willowman has got to be one of the least expensive festivals planned for the summer of 2013.

However the cheap early bird ticket price has not come at the expense of the line-up.

With acts such as Space, The Wonder Stuff, New Model Army and The Orb Sound System, festival goers can see that it is a handpicked billing with a fondness for credible old school headliners.

Not to be outclassed by their established peers the Willowman under bill promises to provide quality summer solstice entertainment this coming June.

Breakthrough acts such as Rosie who have been enjoying recent Radio One airplay will hit the stage alongside more anarchic festival favourites such as Radical Dance Faction and Sicknote.

Event organiser Steve Williams commented “Our early bird ticket offer will extend to midnight on Monday  the 6th of May, this is not a sign of poor ticket sales in fact our ticket sales are very positive. We realise that the on-going recession, energy prices and static wages has created an almost perfect storm to keep festivals goers at home this season. We wanted to give something back to our loyal audience and give families the chance to enjoy an inexpensive break in Yorkshire”.

Over 60 acts are scheduled to play at the fourth Willowman Festival which takes at Hillside Rural Activities Park near the town of Thirsk.

Value conscious attendees can camp up from Thursday the 20th June and stay on site to midday on Monday the 24th.

Whilst on site the willow masses can rotate between the main stage, Willow Wobbly Bar stage, The Acoustic area and Mad Hatters Dance Tent.

From the 7th May tickets will revert back to the full adult weekend price of £70, ticket buyers are being advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
