Wee Dub Festival returns to Edinburgh's historic Old Town between 4th-6th March 2016 for another world class celebration of soundsystem culture.

The festival now attracts over 2000 music enthusiasts from across Europe to 5 ticketed sessions, educational events, film screenings and family social events. Wee Dub Festival also continues to build on their relationship with Edinburgh College, providing volunteer and workshop opportunities for the College's music students.

Each session is designed to have a distinct flavour: an expanded Session 1 (now taking place over 2 venues) has an urban / club feel with a line-up leaning towards jungle, ragga and UK bass including a trio of Scottish debuts from Chopstick Dubplate, FLeCK, Alpha Steppa as well as Jinx In Dub (alongside Zion Train MC Dubdadda), all powered by fast-rising Edinburgh sound crew Electrikal Soundsystem.

Session 2 presents one of the UKs most exciting ska bands, Chainska Brassika, who are touring their debut album. They have supported Madness around Europe, played the top reggae festivals and are currently recording with the legendary Harry J in Jamaica.

Session 3 is the flagship event of the festival - a huge futuristic dancehall soundclash that pitches the UK's #1 soundsystem, Mungo's Hi-Fi against Poland's #1 Dreadsquad, mediated by the hugely respected dubwise sound of Bristol's Dubkasm, with two bona fide legends on the mic: Solo Banton and Blackout JA.

The festival ending party, Session 4, is a mouth-watering bill for fans of roots reggae and dub - pitching London's Notting Hill Carnival legends Aba Shanti-I alongside Brighton's #1 Nick Manasseh who appears with Brother Culture, who recently appeared on the new Prodigy album. Edinburgh's dub originator Messenger provides the bass.

Tickets are available for the whole weekend (£38+BF) or each session individually.
