We Love… is renowned as a beacon of quality in Ibiza. As one of the longest standing nights on the island at its most iconic club, it draws 2012 to a close with a bow.

The 2012 season was longer than ever before with seventeen weeks and over a hundred artists performing. Twenty four of these were live acts including global stars Carl Craig’s 69, Simian Mobile Disco, Octave One, The Correspondents, Sandwell District, Skudge and Tensnake alongside cutting edge talent and new faces to the fold dOP, Martin Buttrich, Aquarius Heaven and Blondes.

Space as a club celebrated its 23rd birthday with The Chemical Brothers playing an exclusive DJ set - their first and only visit to the island since 2009.  The closing fiesta introduced German Titans Modeselektor with their immense light show with support from the musically maverick (Sam) Shackleton. Musically more diverse than ever before, new partnerships were formed with the Dirtybird terrace takeover and the virtuoso pair Fourtet Vs Caribou.  Paul Woolford helped to introduce some Fresh Blood playing back to back with Ben UFO and Untold.  Midland, Deetron, Cosmin TRG, Oxia, Disclosure, George Fitzgerald and Scuba were also new rising stars who graced the famous booths.

2012 also saw Mr Doris´ ´After Dark Sessions´ bloom bringing new world music to the Sunset Terrace post-midnight, inviting artists DJ Vadim, DJ Yoda, Earl Gateshead and Mark Rae amongst a host of others for an interesting twist on the clubbing experience.

Over in El Salon, the Bicep boys had the crowds swinging from the rafters on more than one occasion in the room to go to for your disco fix.  Bringing the locals in from Ibiza Town, The Lo Cura Lounge proved to be a most welcoming home from home.

The eclectic We Love… family and residents Claude Von Stroke, Hot Chip DJs Felix and Al, Jaymo & Andy George, James Zabiela’s Born Electric label parties, jozif, Agoria, Alfredo and Jaime Fiorito’ Heritage Project and many more made sure the flames of the dancefloor were kept alight week in week out.

We Love…wouldn’t be the same without its loyal returning artists and friends. Thanks for making 2012 a special year go out to Derrick May, Jeff Mills, Innervisions, DJ Hell, Miss Kittin, Groove Armada Deetron, Technasia, Smokin Jo, PBR Streetgang, George Fitzgerald and Slam.

"Well, thank f*** that´s over! A really tough summer, but it´s not ever going to be easy breaking new sounds in Ibiza so we knew we had our work cut out for us. I´m really happy that there are still five thousand or so people on the island every week that want to try something a little bit different. All the live acts - twenty four of them to be precise - worked a treat. We’re grateful for the opportunity and we’re generally really nice folk to deal with so that was a massive highlight for me personally. It was fantastic seeing the fresh blood we brought in this year absolutely smashing the place to bits. A huge thank you to you from me and big up yourselves, you know who you are!" Mark Broadbent, We Love… Musical Director.

“Well then!  What more can I say that Mark hasn’t already, other than in a world of compromise, EDM and recession, we continue to relish new blood as they will be helping us to stay where we have always stayed - on the Dancefloor”  Darren Hughes, Director.

We Love… attracts real music lovers, casual hedonists and curious folk looking for superior music and endless pleasure on Sunday evenings. As another summer draws to a close, look out for special We Love… events at various global cities to satisfy those cravings until the white isle will once again raise its flag.
