Altitude Festival is to be aired on TV this Thursday on ITV2 at 11.20pm.

Following Altitude’s successful 2013 festival combining a skiing holiday with a comedy festival, selected highlights from the festival will be broadcast on Thursday night.

The best comedy festival on mainland Europe, Altitude has been carving out a reputation as the place to catch some of the world’s biggest comedians in intimate surrounds. The pre-Edinburgh Festival laughter bash to beat them all in one Alpine resort over 5 nights with 22 comedians and countless laughs, Altitude is essential comedy viewing.

Presented by Andrew Maxwell, the hour long show will be a cavalcade of gags showcasing the very best comedy moments from across the week in Mayrhofen, Austria. Featuring top notch appearances from headlining comedy giants Eddie Izzard and John Bishop, plus Andrew Maxwell, Michael Mittermeier, Marcus Brigstocke, Daniel Sloss, Craig Campbell, Brendon Burns, Rob Beckett, Terry Alderton, Phil Nichol, Benny Boot, Paul Myrehaug, Joel Dommett and Kai Humphries, the Altitude TV Show is 60 minutes of non-stop laughs, giving you a window into a truly unique event in the festival calendar.
