As the UK festival season is well underway around the country, Bollocks to Poverty, the youth arm of anti-poverty charity ActionAid, is urging festival goers to get involved in spreading the Bollocks to Poverty message backstage at the Reading Festival 2011.

Through the Work it! Competition, the lucky winner can live the dream of being an intrepid backstage reporter interviewing bands like The Strokes, Muse, Pulp & My Chemical Romance. The winner can bring their best friend along to share this once in a lifetime experience – and of course hold your coat and turn green with envy while you use your super powers of persuasion to get these musicians on board.

Candidates will need to be passionate and articulate about spreading the Bollocks to Poverty war cry and part of the job will be to get as many musicians into and up for taking part in our anti-poverty campaign. Full training will be given.

The ideal person will be brimming with confidence and totally comfortable about approaching famous people. Applicants are invited to enter the competition by making a video of themselves – showing just how gutsy and up for it they really are. The winner will need to be available to be part of the Bollocks to Poverty team at the Reading Festival 2011 during August 26th, 27th, 28th.
