Under the tuition of expert dance teacher and DJ Ian 'G.I. Jive' Hartley, The Oldfruit Market will come alive as we re-create those packed dance floors of the 1930s and 40s. After just a short lesson you will be ready to take to the floor and enjoy the incredible sounds of 18 piece Swing orchestra The New Squadronaires; formed by the RAF in 1942 to boost morale. No previous dance experience is necessary as the Social Foxtrot is a very quick and easy dance to learn. Then, later in the evening, why not pick up the simple steps to a favourite wartime novelty dance... Yes, you’ll find yourself, doing the Lambeth Walk. Oi!
