Europe’s first ever progressive and technical metal outdoor festival, has added 11 more bands to its monstrous line-up as well as nine more acts performing at the on-site after-parties.
Featuring ex members of prog-metal titans Cynic, jazz-metal fusionists EXIVIOUS have become legendary within tech circles for their unconventional musical approach and world-class virtuosity. Expect many of the other bands to be watching this set, when they take to the stage. They are joined by Basick Records’ NO CONSEQUENCE, who returned this year with their stunning new record ‘IO’ and have upped the ante even further with their super-tight riffage and hook-driven melodies. Bristol technical metallers RED SEAS FIRE have been creating a huge stir in the UK touring circuit this year, and are another exciting addition to the festival. Basick’s new signing from Italy, DAMNED SPRING FRAGRANTIA, will be coming over to showcase their bulldozing mix of low-tuned savagery to the UK for the first time in support of their debut album ‘Divergences’. Alt-metallers VISIONS, Irish proggers SHATTERED SKIES, ethereal metallers EXIST IMMORTAL and up and coming bands BEYOND THE DUST, FOREBODING ETHER, INVOCATION and LINKED have also been added to the bill.
For those who are still hungry for more music after the main event, there will be after-parties that go into the early hours. Friday night will feature a live set followed by a DJ set from tech-tronica loonie THE ALGORITHM and a live set from drum n bass-metallers COLLISIONS. Saturday night will kick off with a set from BILO and then the all-star BILO SUPER JAM, featuring many of the scenes top musicians including David Maxim Micic - Guitar (Destiny Potato), Jakub Zytecki - Guitar (DispersE), Tymon Kruidenier - Guitar (Exivious), Sam Bell - Guitar (Mask of Judas), Uri Dijk - Keyboard (Textures), Adam Swan - Bass (Monuments/Chimp Spanner), Bojan Kvocka - Bass (Destiny Potato), Milan Jejina Yeqy - Drums (Destiny Potato), Mike Malyan - Drums (Monuments/The Algorithm). The night will feature a set from ALEKSANDRA DJELMASH. Sunday will feature sets from ESO, DREWSIF STALIN and ALEKSANDRA RADOSAVLJEVIC.
Tech-Fest is also very excited to announce partnering with Jagermeister, who have come on board as official shot sponsor.
