Pioneering punk band UK Subs and Wildside Riot, featuring glam rock legend Rocky Shades, will be joined by a feast of top rock and metal acts for the Rock & Blues Custom Show ‘Old School Weekender’ in July.

This year’s event takes place at the show’s spiritual home, Coney Grey Showground in Pentrich, Derbyshire, from July 26-28.

As in previous years the organisers have put together a wide range of rock, metal and punk, ranging from established acts to tribute bands.

UK Subs have been touring worldwide for 30 plus years. They maintain and pioneer the true spirit of punk rock, without the compromise and watering-down that has affected so many of their contemporaries.

Wildside Riot is the new five-piece melodic sleaze band fronted by Rocky “Wrekkless” Shades, the charismatic ex frontman lead vocalist of glam titans Wrathchild. New album ‘No Second Takes’ is out soon.

The event also boasts one of the UK and Europe’s leading custom shows, featuring motorcycles, trikes, scooters and hot-rod cars, plus unusual vehicles of interest, with prizes and trophies to be won in several categories.

A huge selection of lagers, local ales and ciders is on offer along with stalls, day-time entertainment, rides, bouncy castle, face painting etc. A kids’ club will be on-site, run by fully accredited staff.
