Since launching in 2004 it has evolved into a major event at The Roundhouse in London, giving the industry a chance to let its collective hair down and fondly reflect upon the achievements of the past year.

With a gourmet dinner, gala awards ceremony and after-show party, it attracts over 1,000 of the most influential people in the business. Over half a million votes were cast last year, making it the benchmark by which festivalgoers rate their experiences, and a coveted prize for organisers.

Awards include Best Major, Medium-Sized and Small Festival, Best Family Festival, Best Overseas Festival, Best Headline Performance, and of course – Best Toilets! Festivals shortlisted across the 23 categories include Bestival, Latitude, Creamfields, Reading & Leeds, Bloodstock, Festival Number 6, Snowbombing and many more. Two new categories for this year’s edition are Best Non-Music Festival and Best Hospitality.

The shortlists for the Awards can be viewed here.

Preceding the evening's Awards, the UK Festival Conference will bring together some of the biggest names in the music and festival industries to engage in discussions across the topics of Cashless Technology, CDM Regulations, Event Curation, Welfare, and Sustainability. The full Conference programme - including panellists and synopses - can be viewed here.
