Two new late additions join the Redcore In Your Face Stage at Redfest 2013: Guildford's Subsource and Southampton Metalcore band The Valiant.

Rising against the mainstream hype-machines, crowds of the nameless and faceless writhe and twist to the undeniably unique sound of SUBSOURCE as it rages out of soundsystems in sweat drenched rooms across continents. The snarl of punk, the oscillating sub bass of dubstep, the relentless ferocity of drum'n'bass and metal get chewed up and spat out amongst electronic glitches.

This beat and bass driven live punk rock act make ravers throw shapes, rockers bang heads, and rude bois throw their hands in the air. With regular tours in the UK and reaching as far as China, their ever increasing fan base is growing solidly - and so with the completion of their most exciting recordings to date, SUBSOURCE are proving to be ones to watch in 2013.

The Valiant are an exciting 5 piece metalcore band from Southampton’s ever growing heavy music scene, taking influences from across and beyond the metalcore genre to create a sound that is both heavy and catchy. Think Killswitch Engage in a sing off with Atreyu.

Despite only becoming an active band in 2009, The Valiant have already proved their worth, sharing the stage with heavyweight metalcore acts such as, For The Fallen Dreams, Bury Tomorrow, Vanna, While She Sleeps, Exit Ten, Memphis May Fire  and Shadows Chasing Ghosts. Alex Baker (Kerrang! Radio) loved ‘Today is the End’ so much he played it on nearly all of his shows for 2 months or so solid over the summer.

Currently recording their debut album at The Ranch, Southampton with producer Lewis Johns the band are excited to have been added to the Redfest billing and can't wait to showcase new material.
