Wood Festival has announced the first acts for the 2015 line up. This is the festival’s 7th year, initially created to be one of the ‘greenest’ festivals celebrating music and nature. It takes place on the 15th, 16th & 17th May at Braziers Park, near Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

The three headline acts have been confirmed as: Tunng, Songhoy Blues & Treetop Flyers. Joining them on stage will be Spiro, Josienne Clarke & Ben Walker, Duotone, John Joseph Brill, Todd Dorigo, Hans Chew, The Dreaming Spires, Nick Copeand & Wood favourites - Treetop Flyers, Knights Of Mentis, Natureboy & Oxford Ukuleles.

Playing at the festival for the first time is Tamara, Brickwork Lizards & Cooling Pearls, with more acts yet to be announced.

Early bird tickets have already sold out in record time, but weekend tickets for this celebration of music and nature are now on sale, Children aged 12 & under go free accompanied by an adult. Tickets are also available from the Truck Store, Oxford.

Created to be one of Britain’s greenest events, Wood is powered completely on renewable energy. Three times a Greener Festival winner at the UK Festival Awards, Wood’s famous composting loos-with-a-view have even been nominated for Best Toilets, no portable toilets here! 

The stages made of handcrafted oak, has a cheery thatch of flowers growing on its roof.
