The Who are set to headline this years Isle of Wight Festival which takes place from 9th - 12th July at Seaclose Park, Isle of Wight.

Festival boss John Giddings says: “The Who are part of the fabric of The Isle of Wight Festival, and it’s great to welcome them back to the island as part of their ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations. We’re proud to have a line up of home-grown headliners to help celebrate our own 15th anniversary and ensure that this year delivers yet another unforgettable weekend of music.”

Also added to the line up is Richard Ashcroft.

The Isle of Wight Festival is the perfect ‘major’ festival, it has the funds and history to attract the biggest artists, but away from the Main Stage & Big Top it captures the intimacy of a small event, a great vibe friendly security staff, with the added bonus of short queues for bars.

Artists already booked to appear: Queen + Adam Lamber, Stereophonics, Faithless, Adam Ant, Busted, Buzzcocks, The Corrs, The Damned, The Family Rain, Gabrielle Aplin, The Godfathers, Gutterdammerung, Half Moon Run, The High Kings, Iggy Pop, Lissie, Pendulum DJ Set, Reverand And The Makeers, Sex Pissed Dolls, Sigma, Sixx:A.M, Twin Atlantic, The Wonderstuff, Everything Everything, Blossoms, Sunset Sons, Feeder, Cast, Reef, Turin Brakes, Alabama 3, Joanne Shaw Taylor, The Second Sons, The Cribs, The Kills, Ocean Colour Scene, Status Quo and Mike + the Mechanics.
