Stevie, a firefighter from Alva, is sure to receive a hero’s welcome when he returns to the festival. He first played T in the Park in 2010, when his musical collective MOPP landed a spot on the T Break Stage after entering Tennent’s Lager’s unsigned talent initiative. His application for The Voice was originally submitted by his firefighter mates, who applied for him to audition without telling him. Last week he emerged as the show’s winner, after his performances inspired the judges and millions of viewers across the UK. His winner’s single Lost Stars soared to no.1 in the iTunes Chart within hours of its release, and is sitting at the top of the Official UK Singles Charts, heading for a chart-topping debut on Sunday. He'll play T in the Park on Saturday 11th July.

Stevie said: "Growing up in Scotland, I dreamed of being able to play T in the Park, there's always been something magical about the festival to me since I was a teenager! I played the T Break Stage in 2010 with a collaborative project called MOPP, but to return to the festival this year as a solo artist is going to be really special."

Festival Director Geoff Ellis said: “Stevie is an incredible talent - he’s no stranger to music fans in Scotland though, having gigged for years as MOPP and also Stevie and the Moon, so his return to T in the Park is sure to be a very special moment for him and for those in the crowd. Afrojack is one of the biggest DJs and producers in the world – he’s never played T in the Park before so we’re thrilled to confirm him for this year’s festival.”

George Kyle, Head of Sponsorship at Tennent’s Lager, said: “We’re very proud to support unsigned talent in Scotland through our T Break initiative. Stevie played T Break as a member of MOPP in 2010 after the duo impressed the judges, and we’re delighted to see that he’s gone on to achieve phenomenal success. His T in the Park performance promises to be a great one.”

Some of the biggest names in music are heading for Scotland this summer for T in the Park’s debut outing at Strathallan Castle over 10th - 12th July, including headliners Kasabian, The Libertines, Avicii and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, plus David Guetta, The Prodigy, Sam Smith, The Script, Stereophonics, Rudimental, Twin Atlantic, Jamie T, Mark Ronson (DJ set), The War on Drugs and many more.

Bus packages are available to buy – buses will drop fans off at the campsite door – it’s the easiest, most efficient way to travel to T in the Park 2015. Refresh wristbands – offering fans access to pamper stations, hair straighteners, hair-washing stations, hair dryers, showers and flushing toilets – are also available for those looking to spend their weekend in style.

T in the Park’s new home Strathallan Castle is centrally located in the heart of the beautiful Perthshire countryside, approximately one hour away from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Lying on an estate sprawling a massive 1000 acres, surrounded by beautiful woodland, T in the Park 2015 will truly be a voyage of discovery.
