Radio station show 'The UYC Experience' on Dover Community Radio has announced Chuff Fest chapter one and two.
UYC Productions formed almost 20 years ago. The company had one very clear mission - "to act as a springboard for new talent". Through television, theatre, film and radio the company has worked with numerous artists. From Pete Brown (lyricist and poet) to Ben Reid (Explorer/Documentary maker) via DJ's - Kurt Baggaley, Greg Wilson and record producers - Morgan Khan, Rob Dickens - working alongside film makers - Dami Akinnusi-Rock, Grant Watson, Terry Stone - and great bands such as - The Shmir, New Old World, Ruby Red, 808 State - with collaborators such as Bill Harry, Spike Hawkins, Michael Horowitz and now finally settling with the UYC Experience in our new home at DCR FM.
Chuff Fest is their first festival - following on from the huge success of their award winning radio show - The UYC Experience. Each week the show plays host to the greatest unsigned (and signed) talent from this corner of the UK. Over 50 artists have graced our doors since inception of the show in 2013. Our listeners have been an incredibly dedicated bunch and deserve to experience the bands 'in the flesh'.
Chuff Fest will be a family friendly, music lovers paradise - with performances from the most amazing talent from in and around Kent. With a permaculture vibe running through the whole event, we promise to entertain and educate whilst sticking to or ethical approach and our 'Permie' mantra - Earth Care, People Care, Fair Share!
The events are being held on private land to provide a spacious outdoor experience (although cover will be available if the good old UK weather threatens to pour)
