Live at Leeds have today announced more names added to this years Festival taking place over the May Bank holiday weekend.

They include London Grammar, Misty Miller, Ruen Brothers and Swiss Lips and more to join the already announced Rudimental, Everything Everything, Laura Mvula, The 1975, AlunaGeorge, Peace, Darwin Deez ,The Walkmen, Dutch Uncles, Savages, MØ and Melodys Echo Chamber. 

On Friday the Cockpit hosts The Live at Leeds pre-party featuring performances from The Strypes and the Likely Lads. The Session takes over from 11pm with an early wristband exchange and guest DJs from some of the hottest bands of the weekend. See The Cockpit website for details.

The Unconference event, taking place on the 3rd May, has revealed more details. Working in association with Music Industry Yorkshire & Blacks Solicitors it will be hosted at Leeds College of Music focusing on networking and the landscape of music consumption in the digital era. The panels will include The Orchard, Witchita Management, Jon Gomm, Hope & Social plus many more.  A free gig (for attendees of the conference) featuring Black Moth, Wet Nuns and Bearfoot Beware has also been announced. The gig will take place at the Wardrobe from 7pm. The gig is also open to non-attendees at £5 on the door.

The day will end with the customary and successful demo panel where bands get to submit music to be discussed by a panel of experts, giving practical advice on recording, releasing and getting exposure for your music. This year's panel includes Gareth Dobson (Wichita Management), Ryan Lofthouse (Closer Management), Colin Roberts (Big Life Management) & Peter White (Fear & Records).
