Pitchfork Music Festival Paris has announced the first names to appear at this year's festival as The Knife, Hot Chip, Deerhunter, Warpaint, The Haxan Cloak and Junip. Entering into its third year, the highly revered and critically acclaimed live music festival will be returning to Grande Halle de la Villette in the heart of Paris’ 19th arrondissement on the 31st October – 2nd November.
As with 2012, the festival will span across 3 days and will make full use of the Grande halle de la Villette’s multifunctional spaces. The unique building lies within the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement. The venue used to be an abattoir and retains a vast sense of space. The historical building now serves as a venue for trade fairs, exhibitions, music festivals, and open-air cinema.
Early bird tickets are now on-sale priced at €99.90 for a 3 day pass (approx £85) and can be purchased here Tickets will increase to €129,90 once early birds are sold out.
