Heading up the Cocoon stage is Raresh, who is a mere 23 years old and has been making huge waves on the DJ scene since 2005 when Sven Vath and Ricardo Villalobos found themselves impressed by his lively, amiable personality, huge eclectic knowledge of music and undoubted technical skills. Now signed to Cocoon, Raresh is highly sought after and travels the world on a weekly basis. Tobi Neumann on the other hand came to DJing a little later than the norm, becoming ‘infected by electronic music’ when visiting Berlin’s infamous Love Parade. This moment made Tobi sit up and change direction from producing commercial jingles and movie soundtracks to a decade of Berlin residencies. He is indisputably one of the most highly recognized and highly respected personalities in electronic music.

Legendary Cocoon will also be bringing Dinky, aka, Alejandra Iglesias to the Zoo Project Festival. This DJ beauty was born in Santiago, Chile and while growing up the huge musical nature of the Chilean lifestyle had a huge influence over the DJ. Moving to New York as a young adult, Dinky made her mark on the big apple quickly and played at the cities biggest clubs. Reaching international fame with her track ‘Acid in My Fridge’ released on Cocoon Recordings. A native Italian, Ilario Alicante is one of the young guns on the scene, at just 22 he has been making and DJing for the best part of a decade, securing a residency at a mere 15 years old. Released to the world by Italian monster collective Circo Loco, Ilario will be at the forefront of the next decades DJ icons.

Another addition to the epic Cocoon stage is Frankfurt born in 1973, Andre Galluzzi who is known for his intoxicating 10 hour sets and for his destination residency in Berlin’s internationally renowned super-club Berghain. Finally on the Cocoon stage will be the German born and bred Dana Ruh, beginning her continually rising DJ career in 2005, Dana’s incomparable output continues to amaze both her peers and her junior DJs.

The iconic secretsundaze will be bringing some of their Secret artists to the Zoo Project Festival including the legendary figure in electronic music Chez Damier, who has played a pivotal part in the growth of house and techno throughout the past decade. Joining Damier is secretsundaze founder Giles Smith who will be stunning crowds at the festival. With a reputation that can better any other, Giles has made his mark on the London club scene not only through the infamous secretsundaze but also his own unique style, winning him the Best New DJ Time Out award in 2003. Smith’s partner in crime James Priestley will also be taking to the secretsundaze stage over the wild weekend. A London clubbing icon, Priestley has played both intimate venue as well as Room 1 at Fabric.

Last but by no means least, Warren Brown aka Wbeeza! will be closing the secretsundaze stage with his unique sound. Bringing in his history and lineage of 20 years of house and techno and adding a fresh twist which comes from growing up and living in Peckham, South London. Wbeeza! mixes jacking basement vibes and swinging jazz grooves which will definitely be keeping animals on their feet.

If this isn't already enough the seminal Channel Zoo have confirmed a phenomenal line-up including one of their Ibiza favorites, Lee Pennington who is renowned for his British club night riffraff and has a residency at The Zoo Projects very own Ibiza gathering will be joining the throng, as well as duo Nic & Kaleb who will be adding their edgy tech house with a hint of melodic soul to the mix. Yet more names will be keeping festival goers in the wild at the Channel Zoo stage including Michael James and Federico Grazzini

jaunt> and Southampton Club night junk will be bringing some salacious beats to the Zoo Project Festival kicking off with DROOG, the DJ collective of Andrei Osyka, Brett Griffin and Justin Sloe conceived 4 years ago in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. DROOG has steadily built a reputation as one of the leading purveyors of forward-thinking dance, launching the LA-based record label, Culprit, which has seen successful releases from artists such as Matt Tolfrey and Inxec.

A new scene favorite Jordan Peak will be joining the jaunt> and junk stage. The British DJ is part of a new wave of exciting talent to hit the underground music scene, and in 2011 was named 'one to watch' on Radio 1's Essential Selection. From releasing his first production in 2009 his releases have gone from strength to strength, from working with the likes of Tsuba to Adam Shelton & Subban's One Records. Starting off as soon as he hit legal tender in London's east end, Sam Russo first experienced DJ life on the Shoreditch circuit, with gigs at spots like Cargo and Herbal, before moving to Southampton where he became a resident at junk. Sam will be bringing his unique and distinct style to the first ever Zoo Project Festival, along with Richard Rowell, Tom Rankin and Luca Pilato.

The Zoo Project Festival is taking place in the middle of a working Wild Animal Park, the ethos of Ibiza will be encouraged and festival goers will be arriving in a minagery of animal costumes to release their inner animal.
