ArcTanGent will return for a second year in 2014, following the success of the 2013 event, for which they was shortlisted for a total of three festival awards. Focusing on the more experimental, leftfield music, particularly post and math-rock, ArcTanGent is making waves on the festival circuit.

Organiser Simon Maltas says “Tickets for 2014 are expected to sell quickly, there’s going to be a massive rush. Tickets are on sale on the 30th January at 7pm and we’re expecting to sell huge numbers in the first week. A limited number will be available at last years prices for a bargain £59. With a line up announcement scheduled for the 6th February, we’re expecting most of the tickets to be sold by the end of February.

The line up promises to better that of 2013 with American and Japanese bands approached to perform. Unexpectedly, ArcTanGent attracted an international audience last year with people travelling from all over Europe and from as far as California and Australia.

ArcTanGent Festival 2014 takes place at Fernhill Farm, Cheddar Road, Compton Martin, Somerset between Thu 28th to Sat 30th August 2014. To read our review of the Inaugural event click here.
