The Human League have been announced as the Sunday headliner at the Galtres Parkland Festival, they will be supported by the audio visual genius that are Public Service Boraodcasting

Festival director James Houston said:

"Finding the right acts for the Sunday top slots filled last year by The Stranglers and the Undertones was never going to be easy,"  "But we think The Human League are an inspired choice and will be hugely popular with our audience. They stand out both for their back catalogue and contemporary hits, and are complemented wonderfully by Public Service Broadcasting who are the most exciting breakthrough electro act of 2014. It's going to be a fantastic festival finale and a stunning end to our anniversary weekend."

The Human Laegue and Public Service Broadcasting join Levellers, Bellowhead , The Men They Couldn't Hang, Chris Helme, John Otway, Boss Caine, Blackbeard's Party, Dave Smith and Sarah Horn 

Galtres Parklands Festival 2014 takes place at Duncombe Park, near York from 22nd to 24th July
