MIDI Festival returns for its 9th year taking place in the beautiful location of the French Riviera. It present's a selection of the world’s best artists and DJs across a three day exploration of leftfield music. Showcasing a mixture of both established and up and coming acts, MIDI Festival has quietly cemented its reputation as a tastemaker festival, delivering a credible and carefully crafted line-up against the dynamic and beautiful backdrop of the south of France.

Set across three venues, including a racetrack, a beach and an arts centre, MIDI Festival presents revellers with an experience described by NME Magazine as “the best festival experience you could ever hope for”.

Amongst the first names confirmed for 2013 include shoegaze influenced 5-piece The Horrors, electronic auteurs Mount Kimbie, alternative hip-hop act Mykki Blanko and former Joy Division member Peter Hook & the Light. Other confirmed acts included Alunageorge, King Krule, Only Real, Appletop, ex WU LYF member Francis Lung, Christopher Owens, Splashh and Justin Martin. Previous years have seen the likes of Bon Iver, R. Stevie Moore, Disclosure, SBTRKT, Primal Scream, Hudson Mohawke, Alt- J, The XX and more take to the stage, strengthening MIDI’s position as a festival to see some of the world’s finest artists alongside the best of the emerging music scene.

Taking place in the beautiful medieval city of Hyeres, with its turquoise waters and stunning architecture, MIDI Festival’s setting is utterly unforgettable. After dark, the beach location becomes ‘MIDI Night’ where electronic aspects of the line-up are presented and festival goers can party under the stars until the early hours. By day, the crystal waters of this four-kilometre beach provide an idyllic setting for revellers to absorb the rays of the guaranteed sunshine or dabble in a spot of windsurfing.  Stretching over the amazing Southern landscape, sits a 1400 meter long racetrack at the core of a beautiful pine forest which plays home to the stage known as ‘Hippodrome de la Plage.’ The third stage is found in the multi-faceted arts centre known as ‘Villa Noailles’
