Weekend and pit crew tickets are disappearing quickly, so smokin’ fans wanting to savour two days of authentic barbecue goodness are encouraged to grab their tickets quick.

The Dive Bar Stage has its most epic line-up to date with DJ Cheeba, The 45’s, Nextman, Gaz’s Rockin' Blues, Fruit Bomb, Benny Guitar Carr, The Wholls, plus local favourites The Jacques and Mad Apple Circus.

Ben Merrington, co-founder of Grillstock, commented: “With one massive hoedown in Bristol this year this epic soundtrack sets the scene for the weekend. It won’t be long until the smell of juicy meat cooking on smokin’ coals fills Bristol’s harbourside and we’ll all be kicking back with mates, chowing down and having a blast.”

As ever, the festival will bring together the very best in live-fire and low ‘n’ slow barbecue street food with a record number of 30 teams confirmed for King of the Grill, the biggest cook off the festival has ever seen with teams visiting from all over the country to enter and be named Grillstock’s BBQ Champion of 2016. The US BBQ legend Dr BBQ will oversee proceedings, with his team of judge’s taste buds working over-time to savour the phenomenal number of dishes created across the two days of the festival.

Grillstock founders Jon Finch and Ben Merrington are set to unleash the ultimate barbecue cookbook, Grillstock: The BBQ Book, published by Sphere and available to pre- order at www.grillstock.co.uk/bbqbook or on Amazon.

Tickets are now on sale.
