Crooked Ways released details of the first wave of acts to feature for their 2013 festival:

The Enemy, Grandmaster Flash, Peter Hook, The Dot, Mallory Knox, Dinosaur Pileup, Rolo Tomassi, The Defiled, Gallops, and Sam Forrest across two of their four stages.

2013 will be Crooked Way’s 2nd year in the festival calendar and promises to be bigger and better than their inaugural year in 2012. The festival will feature four stages; the main stage which features main stream acts, iconic names and Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famers. The Institution will be the rock/alternative stage at Crooked Ways and feature the best in UK rock acts alongside some of the best up and coming talent. Supporting the Son stage will feature genre spanning acts with the best in up and coming acts whilst the Crooked Ways Presents stage will feature the best in local talent with only bands from Yorkshire playing on the stage.

Scott Ward, Crooked Ways Promoter, says “The whole Crooked Ways clan are delighted to announce every single one of these acts. Even though 2012 was awesome, 2013 is measuring up to be even better. The best in UK talent alongside iconic names and international legends make up for what should be a great day! Outside of the music we’ll have some amazing attractions for all people; lazy, active or downright stupid. And with more acts on their way, 2013 will hopefully be a tremendous year for Crooked Ways.

Crooked Ways 2013 takes place at Pontefract Racecourse, West Yorkshire , on Sat 1st June 2013
