Sŵn has announced that The Cribs will return to Cardiff to perform at this year’s Sŵn Festival, which promises to be the biggest yet. The band played at Sŵn’s inaugural festival in 2007 and are back this year for the event, which has grown ten times bigger in the last six years.

Playing at Cardiff University’s Great Hall in November 2007, the brothers Jarman - Gary, Ryan and Ross - brought their acerbic, twin-vocal attack and infectious lo-fi melodies to where they soared to the top of that year's 'best bits' list. Fast forward six years and the trio, who nestle comfortably within the rich tapestry of Britain's indie scene, are back with more meticulous pop-rock anthems and an army of memorable sing-a-long moments waiting in the wings. 

Currently celebrating their fifth studio album ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull’ which became the band's second release to reach the Top 10 of the UK Album Chart, The Cribs will return to perform at the Great Hall on the second day of the festival (Friday 19th October 2012). Tickets for people who only want to attend this show will be on-sale 9.30am August 31st 2012. Those who have bought a 4 day wristband or Friday wristband for Sŵn Festival can attend this event by buying a top up ticket (available today, August 24th 2012)*.
