Musicport Festival have today confirmed more acts for the line up including The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Amine & Hamza, Jesse Bannister's Play Out featuring Zoe Rahman,Zoe Rahman & Mercury Prize-nominated drummer Seb Rochford alongside Corrine Bailey Rae bassist Kenny Higgins, Kathryn Williams, Perunika Trio, Tashi Lhunpo Monks, Y Sweet Patootie, Attila the Stockbroker, Varldens Band.

They join Catrin Finch & Seikou Keita, Robyn Hitchcock, The Lucy Ward Band, New Rope String Band, Tantz, John Smith, The Bevvy Sisters, O'Hooley & Tidow, Moirai, Haddo.

Organiser Jim McLaughlin said “We’ve got some really exciting additions in the pipeline but already we feel we have a great line-up that will only get better in the coming months . Living up to last years event will be very hard but we’re up for the challenge and hope to get a great crowd out for our launch event with Bassekou Kouyate & Ngoni Ba on 14th March at Whitby Pavilion  who have been described in The Independent as “the best rock and roll band in the world” 

Musicport 2014 takes place at Whitby Pavilion, West Cliff, The Spa, Whitby, North Yorkshire between Fri 17th to Sun 19th October 2014.
