The Cambridge Club Festival The Cambridge Club Festival is set to make a triumphant return next summer, featuring a stellar line-up of dance, disco, soul, and funk stars. The three-day festival, taking place from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th June at Childerley Orchard on the outskirts of Cambridge, promises a feel-good atmosphere with international acts headlining the main stage.

The line-up includes iconic figures such as Chaka Khan, a 10-time Grammy Award-winning superstar known for hits like "I’m Every Woman" and "Ain’t Nobody." Earth Wind & Fire Experience by Al McKay, embodying the spirit of the original band, will showcase their influential disco, R&B, and soul sound. MOBO-winning singer Gabrielle, 80s party starters Incognito, and psychedelic-funk legends The Family Stone are also set to perform.

Other notable acts on the main stage include Sister Sledge, known for disco classics like "We are Family," and Soul II Soul, the double Grammy Award-winning pioneers with hits like "Back to Life" and "Keep on Movin’." Former Spice Girl Melanie C, with over three million album sales as a solo artist, will also grace the festival.

The festival, supported by the Cambridge Independent, is not just about music; it also features comedy acts and children’s entertainment. Emphasizing diversity, over half of the music acts will be female stars. The event, founded on a passion for feel-good tunes and dancing, aims to bring together friends and family of all ages for a celebration of music, arts, and culture.  Chaka Khan will close the weekend, celebrating her 50-year legacy in the music industry and recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The festival’s managing director, William Young, said:

We’re incredibly excited to be back with an amazing line-up for 2024, just a few months after sharing our best-ever festival together. Chaka Khan and Earth, Wind & Fire have always been right at the top of our all-time wish list, so we’re so thrilled to have them perform.
