Now in its 8th year Redfest returns with what is hoped will be their finest venture yet. In 2013 Redfest introduced a stage dedicated to alternative rock, metal and hardcore. It was a bold move for a festival typically known for its strong indie and pop rock line ups, but it paid off, with the 1600 capacity tent receiving decent sized crowds all weekend, and seeing some incredible performances from the 22 bands who graced the stage.

With this in mind we're delighted to welcome the RAWR back to Redfest, with the announcement of the return of this stage for 2014.

It may surprise some to find a band like Welsh pop rock gods The Blackout headlining such a billing, but with so many crossover vibes and mashed genres going on over the whole weekend we are confident of a great reception. And a very full tent.

They also welcome London hardcore troupe TRC, and Milton Keynes metallers Heart of a Coward, as the main supports, with Heights, The Dirty Youth, Lostalone, Polar, Baby Godzilla, Astroid Boys, The Catharsis, Slaves, The One Hundred, and Rat Attack also on the billing.

Completing the lineup are Skies in Motion, Fathoms, Collisions, When We Were Wolves, Aurora, Our Hollow Our Home, A Moment Lost and Set Your Sails.

They are also delighted to announce their sponsor partners for this stage, Total Uprawr , who will also be running after hours entertainment in the 2nd stage tent in typical Uprawr fashion.

Redfest is a 2-day music festival featuring live performances across 3 stages, which will play host to a diverse mix of rock, indie, pop, acoustic and dj/dance acts.
