Scottish dance music legend Mylo has been confirmed for the line up for The Big Beach Ball. Having produced one of the biggest electronic albums of all time with “Destroy Rock N Roll”, Mylo instantly became a firm favourite with thousands across the world. Making a rare live appearance in Scotland, this is something of a catch for Aberdeen, and indeed Scotland’s music festivals on the whole.

MORE NAMES ADDED!

After our action packed announcement last week, we are extremely excited to confirm that Scottish dance music legend Mylo will be joining us at The Big Beach Ball!!!

This is something of a catch for Aberdeen, and indeed Scotland’s music festivals, so don’t miss out on a ticket for what will be one of Mylo’s only performances in 2014.

Also announced for the Voyager x DSR Sound System Stage is Dillinja. There are few producers on the D’n’B scene who are as respected and revered as Dillinja, even remixing for the likes of David Bowie, Bjork, Faith No More, Soul II Soul and Basement Jaxx. With his trademark combination of dirty stomach-churning basslines and tighter than tight beats, his reputation has been secured as one of the most influential producers in Drum’n’Bass history.

Kicking off the very same Sound System stage at 4pm, another addition to their line-up sees Tuff Wax Records duo Bones & Money bring their slower jams to ease you into a day of what the stage offers – Reggae, Roots, Dub, D’n’B, Jungle and everything in between.

Outside in one of their new areas for 2014 – The Container - they have enlisted local party starters from House Of House to add a slice of what they do best.

These acts are added to the already confirmed line up of KERRI CHANDLER, GREEN VELVET, CAJMERE, OPTIMO, HARRI & DOMENIC, KRYSTAL KLEAR, MUNGO’S HI-FI, plus live performances from ADMIRAL FALLOW, MALCOLM MIDDLETON, FATHERSON, OK SOCIAL CLUB, THE LITTLE KICKS, PICTISH TRAIL, TUFF LOVE.

BBB ’14 sees some of the world’s biggest DJs line-up alongside fantastic live bands and artists from across the country – and with The Beach Ballroom celebrating it’s 85th birthday on the same weekend, They are kicking off the UK festival season with a bang.  For more information and ticket links click here.
