The Beat Herder Festival 2017 Review

Ask anyone who has been to Beat Herder and they will tell you that the festival is simply marvellous. Although small in size, Beat Herder is a MASSIVE festival. Massive in atmosphere, Massive in quality, Massive in pure unadulterated vibe. Beat Herder 2017 will aim to raise the bar even higher.

Beat Herder is one of those special events where the festival is bigger than the acts performing, a big statement I know especially when you consider the line up that includes: Crystal Fighters, Kelis, Sleaford Mods, Trentemøller, and Toots & The Maytals

The site is awesome, situated in a glorious spot in rural Lancashire, and bedecked throughout with eye popping art works and installations. Although a large site, clever design results in an intimacy and uniqueness about each ‘scene’ which makes it a joy to explore. Beat Herder boasts 15 different stages, but that’s just the half of it once you factor in all the other bars and performance.

The choice of entertainment and experience is vast. The Beat Herder Stage plays host to the the biggest artists together with local talent.

The Toil Trees area you have perhaps one of the most atmospheric arenas on the UK festival scene, there is just something magical, united and tribal about dancing under the trees.  While The Fortress for all things House music! Totally surrounded by a 30ft tall castle created using recycled parts,

The Beat-Herder and District Working Mens Social Club, fully furnished with traditional interior, its a great place to relax, drink and watch more entertainment including Beat Herder's Got Talent.

Beatherder festival 2017 takes place from Friday 14th - Sunday 16th July 2017 at Dockber Farm, Sawley, Lancashire, BB7 4LH
