The Apple Cart Festival returns for its second year on Sunday, the festival is for music, comedy, art, cabaret and magic. Taking place in London's Victoria Park, the Apple Cart will take place from 11am until 10pm with everything from Mercury winning musicians, award garnering comedians, conjuring Magic circle members, the art car boot fair, a new bespoke interactive art happening from the House of Fairy Tales and everything from hog roasts to the coconut king at Venn St Market. The Apple Cart aims to create a kaleidoscopic, colourful playground for adults and kids alike.

Musically there really is something for everyone’s ears from the folk/rock melodies of Noah and the Whale, Billy Bragg and Stornoway to the maverick pop of Adam Ant and Kid Creole, the compelling genius of Josh T Pearson and Inner City with DJs Gilles Peterson and Kevin Rowland .

The Comedy Club has regular faces from T.V. and stage Sean Lock, Rich Hall, Shappi Khorsandi, Josie Long and Josh Widdicombe and so much more.

You can also expect to see spectacular and outrageous performances from emerging talent, cabaret legends and current darlings of the alt-cabaret scene. The Magic Circle,  will provide a host of entertainment and magic for kids and adults.

In addition to the great entertainment there will be wonderful food available from The Venn Street Market including, Hog Roast from Clapham’s award winning butcher Moen & Sons; Portena’s traditional Argentine Empanadas and Chipa Cheese dough balls with Chimichurri Sauce; Yam the Cassava’s amazing authentic Creole Fish Cakes and Banana Fritters; Popina’s and Sweet’s freshly baked artisan sweet and savoury pastries, cakes and other treats; prize winning Vietnamese coffee from Ca Phe VN – and if that wasn’t enough, The Coconut King will be bringing fresh coconuts to eat and drink all day long - simply couldn’t be tastier!
