Stages and complete running order disclosed, alongside day tickets

Strummer of Love has today announced the final line-up for this year’s one-off event, set to take place in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Blackdown Hills, Somerset this August 17-19.

The festival will be hosting remarkable performances from renowned artists including The Pogues, Seasick Steve, Frank Turner, Badly Drawn Boy, Roots Manuva, Basement Jaxx, Emmy the Great, Billy Bragg, KT Tunstall, and The Justice Tonight Band (feat. Mick Jones, Pete Wylie & The Farm).

Festival-goers will now also have the opportunity to buy day tickets to the event which have been released at £50 for adults, £35 for teenagers and free to those under 12.

Strummer of Love, the Joe Strummer 10th Anniversary Festival, is a unique opportunity to celebrate the life and legacy of Joe Strummer.  All funds raised by the event will go directly towards helping Strummerville: The Joe Strummer Foundation for New Music, a registered charity set up in honour of one of punk’s most iconic protagonists.

Strummerville’s capacity to continue its work will be greatly increased through the proceeds of the festival.

Alongside the great music on offer festival-goers can try their hand at crafts, Art Barter, unwind in the Healing Circle, take part in Speaking Suppers, eat delicious locally sourced food at the Elderflower Kitchen, or spend time with the kids at Children’s World.

A blazing campfire, which will burn for the duration of the festival, will ensure that Joe’s love of conversation, his passion for people and extraordinarily unifying spirit will be undeniably represented.

In addition, renowned artist Damien Hirst has announced the unveiling of two brand new pieces of art which have been produced to commemorate Joe Strummer and support Strummerville through a public raffle. Tickets are priced at £20 and can be purchased HERE
