Stockton Calling has announced further line up details this year’s event.

Confirmed for The Georgian Theatre stage, and warming up for headliners Chapel Club, is psychedelic duo Temples.

The Kettering pair have been likened to a cross between The Turtles, The Coral and The Stone Roses by NME, and as well as getting constant radio play from 6Music, they have also just been confirmed to play major Spanish Benicassim, alongside Arctic Monkeys and The Killers.

Fellow buzz band Death At Sea will play KU Bar’s stage along with Nine Black Alps and 12 Dirty Bullets. The band were selling out gigs and stirring crowds in to a sing-a-long frenzy before even officially releasing any songs.

Compared to Sonic Youth, The Velvet Underground and The Strokes, the quintet has gained the attention of Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, the NME and just about every influential tastemaker in the industry.

New stage at The Storytellers has added further acts to it’s already bursting roster. Credence Clearwater Revival-esque band Three Blind Wolves make the trip down from Glasgow – adding more Scottish clout to the stage, which is also hosting Discopolis and Stanley Odd on the day.

Pale Seas will fill the venue with beautifully crafter folk pop which has seen them receive airplay from the UKs biggest radio stations, named on NME’s Radar, and The Line of Best Fit said of their track Something or Nothing …a bittersweet track which exemplifies Pale Seas' ability to entwine elegant harmonies with lyrical content way beyond the bands years.”
