Spandau Ballet have announced a West Country woodland concert this summer as part of the Forestry Commission’s Forest Live music series. After two decades apart, the band reformed in 2009, embarking on a sold-out tour. Last year saw the critically acclaimed release of the movie ‘Soul Boys of The Western World’, the first time their story has been documented on film.

Commenting for the band, lead singer Tony Hadley said: “We’ve not done a Forest Live gig before so we are really looking forward to seeing you all down in the woods in July.”

Tickets £46.50 (plus £4.65 booking fee) go on sale Friday 27 March.

Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission to bring woods and forests to new audiences. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on managing this internationally important tree collection.
