Sound Waves 2014 taking place on Saturday have announced a special buy one get one free offer on tickets for Sound Waves 2014 in South Shields! Artists appearing include: Texas, Gabrielle, All Saints, Lulu James.

Sound Waves 2014 will be held in Bents Park, which is located on the seafront in South Shields opposite the award winning Sandhaven Beach. The concert will commence at approximately 5.40pm. After the show has finished the park will close to the public at approximately 10.00pm.

Seating is not provided at Sound Waves 2014 but you are allowed to bring your own folding chairs or rugs to sit on. Please be aware that people often stand immediately in the front of the stage and this is often encouraged by the artistes who are performing. If you want to enjoy the concert from the comfort of a deck chair you are recommended to set up some way back from the stage.

Disabled Provision

Bents Park is a large open area which provides good views of the stage for those in wheelchairs from most areas. In addition there is a large video screen adjacent to the stage which will show live footage of the concert. There is a designated disabled viewing platform however capacity is limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

No Alcohol or Food is allowed, but A licensed bar will be available on site for the duration of the concert and a Challenge 21 policy will be in operation so it is advisable to bring ID with you.
